1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing LokaEventOne, making a booking or using any customer feature, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.
2. What LokaEventOne Provides
LokaEventOne is an event-services technology platform that helps customers discover venues, vendors, service catalogues, packages and coordinated event solutions. Depending on the service, LokaEventOne may facilitate introductions, booking workflows, verification, assignment, invoicing, payments and communications between customers and service providers.
Individual venues and service vendors may be independent businesses. Unless expressly stated otherwise in a confirmed booking, they are responsible for delivering their own services, staff, equipment, licences, permissions and professional obligations.
3. Eligibility and Customer Accounts
- You must be legally capable of entering into a binding transaction and must provide accurate registration information.
- You are responsible for keeping your password, OTP and account access confidential.
- You must promptly update inaccurate or outdated account and contact information.
- You may not create an account using another person’s identity or use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.
4. Venue and Service Information
Venue availability, service descriptions, photographs, capacities, facilities, package inclusions, prices and other listing information may be supplied by vendors or administrators and may change over time. LokaEventOne aims to keep listings accurate, but customers should review the final booking summary and any vendor-specific conditions before confirming an event.
5. Booking Process
A booking request is not necessarily a final commitment until the required verification, availability confirmation and payment conditions are completed. A booking may pass through statuses such as pending, verified, confirmed, in progress, completed or cancelled. The booking record shown in the customer dashboard and any issued invoice or confirmation document form part of the transaction record.
6. Prices, Taxes and Payments
Displayed prices may be starting prices, catalogue prices or estimates and may vary based on date, location, guest count, customization, taxes, logistics, additional services or vendor-specific requirements. The final payable amount is the amount confirmed for the booking.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Customers must use lawful payment methods and should never disclose OTPs, UPI PINs, CVV values or banking passwords to LokaEventOne staff or vendors.
7. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds
Cancellation, rescheduling and refund eligibility can depend on the service, event date, vendor commitments, work already completed, materials purchased, venue rules and payment stage. Any booking-specific cancellation or refund conditions shown during booking, in an invoice, confirmation, written quotation or separately published refund policy will apply to that transaction.
Where a refund is approved, processing time may also depend on the original payment method, payment gateway and banking system. Non-refundable third-party charges or already-incurred service costs may be deducted where disclosed and legally permitted.
8. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide correct event date, location, guest count, contact information and service requirements.
- Obtain any customer-side permissions, licences or approvals required for the event where applicable.
- Treat vendors, venue staff and LokaEventOne personnel respectfully and lawfully.
- Do not request illegal, unsafe, discriminatory, infringing or deceptive services.
- Notify LokaEventOne promptly if a material event detail changes after booking.
9. Vendor Performance and Marketplace Role
LokaEventOne may review, onboard, verify or administer vendors, but no screening process can eliminate every risk. Service quality can vary based on vendor performance, event conditions and customer requirements. Where a problem occurs, LokaEventOne may assist with coordination, records and dispute handling, but responsibility for an independently supplied service may remain with the relevant vendor.
10. Photos, Reviews and Customer Content
If you upload, submit or authorize publication of photographs, reviews, event details or other content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide that content. You grant LokaEventOne a non-exclusive licence to store, reproduce and display the content as needed to operate the platform, fulfil the booking or provide the feature for which it was submitted.
You must not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, infringing, abusive, private without authorization or otherwise inappropriate for the platform.
11. Intellectual Property
The LokaEventOne name, branding, interface, software, workflows, text, graphics and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to LokaEventOne and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of platform intellectual property to customers.
12. Prohibited Uses
- Attempting to bypass authentication, security controls, rate limits or access restrictions.
- Scraping, copying or redistributing platform data at scale without authorization.
- Uploading malware, malicious code or content intended to disrupt the platform.
- Using false identities, fraudulent payment methods or manipulated booking information.
- Harassing vendors, customers, employees or other platform users.
- Using LokaEventOne in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
13. Third-Party Services
Payment gateways, maps, messaging providers, external vendor services and other integrations may be governed by separate third-party terms. LokaEventOne is not responsible for a third party’s independent systems, outages or policies, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
14. Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend or discontinue platform features, categories, service locations, vendors or technical integrations for operational, security, legal or business reasons. We may also perform maintenance or emergency changes. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary disruption to active bookings.
15. Account Suspension or Termination
LokaEventOne may restrict, suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to address fraud, non-payment, abuse, security threats, repeated violations, unlawful conduct or material breach of these Terms. Customers may stop using the platform and may request account deletion subject to record-retention requirements described in the Privacy Policy.
16. Disclaimers
The platform is provided on an “as available” basis. While LokaEventOne works to maintain reliable information and functionality, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, that every vendor will remain available, or that every third-party service will perform without delay or error.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LokaEventOne will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the platform, third-party services, vendor acts or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
18. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims or costs arising from your unlawful use of the platform, violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights or materially false information you provide.
19. Force Majeure
Neither LokaEventOne nor a service provider will be responsible for delay or failure caused by events reasonably beyond control, including severe weather, natural disasters, public emergencies, government restrictions, strikes, widespread network failures or similar events. Rescheduling, alternative arrangements or refunds in such cases will depend on the affected booking and applicable law.
20. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties should first try in good faith to resolve any complaint through LokaEventOne support. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the platform, services or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where legally permitted.
22. Contact
For questions about these Terms, a booking, complaint or service issue, please use the official contact channels published on our Contact Us page.
